I'M STILL HERE!

Oh my goodness!  I haven't posted in months. That's what happens when your life is chocked full of happenings and tasks, business and personal, and you lose track of things to do.  But what I'm doing as we speak is sorting all my personal tasks, like updating personal websites and posting on social media, posting on my blogs, and scheduling it all. Same as I schedule the business tasks, or am in process of scheduling business tasks.  There is a load of them.

I'm lucky though. The Pewter Plough Playhouse staff is taking one by one off my burdened shoulders, about which I'm very happy.  I really can turn loose, baby! Oh boy, can I ever! We've come a long way since January.  Now I have a wonderful assistant/bookkeeper, production manager, a computer savvy box office/ticketing manager (we've changed POS systems to SQUARE, and all other form systems will be on computer by end of month), lights & sound technicians, IT person, a terrific electrician, and an incredible stage set builder.  Did I say how fortunate I am?   Now all we have to do is fill the seats to pay for all this!  Minor detail.

AND now my dear daughter has entered the fray, she'll be handling the newspaper/Internet event calendar listings. Started this past weekend from her home in San Diego. Even she said, "I didn't know it would be this involved and time-consuming." There we go!  That's what I've been feeling as I tried to do all the marketing/advertising myself, as well as our print media for handouts. Just way too much for one person.

So I'll continue to create the print media (posters, flyers, banners, programs, entertainment schedules), I'm pretty particular about that. If someone comes along who can volunteer to do it better or at an acceptable level, then I'll let that go too. We could use more volunteer help with print material distribution to hotels and businesses in Cambria and elsewhere.

My objective with the PPP is to have it run independent of me.  Oh, I'll still be around to oversee the business, but I want to focus on my life-long passion, which is writing. Getting close to that now, almost there.

Soooooo ... a big hug and kiss and an even bigger THANK YOU to the staff and volunteers of the Pewter Plough Playhouse!
